As for finding certain colors you're looking for, there's no way to search the catalog in TS3 as there is in TS4. Many houses in real life sit on foundation that's not level with the ground-if you walk a few steps up a porch to get to your front door, that's simply what that is. There's no trick to them (assuming you're using them as-is, without manipulating them with CFE).
